Journal of the History of Medicine

Acta Medicorum Polonorum (ISSN 2083-0343) is a peer-reviewed international journal on the history of medicine and natural sciences, issued by Poznan University of Medical Sciences. From 2015, Acta Medicorum Polonorum is a semi-annual periodical. It publishes original articles on the history of medicine and natural sciences, especially based on difficult to access Polish sources. Because some old terms and concepts are untranslatable, the majority of articles are published in Polish, however, articles in English are welcomed. The journal also publishes the biographies of doctors, their diaries, letters, and memoirs, as well as reviews and reports.

From January 2017, all articles are in open access (Creative Commons CC-BY). From July 2017, all artices have DOI. Articles are published for free.
